Building Expert Certification
Conferred
on Mark McFarland by International Sanitary Supply Association
HUTCHINSON (KS) – Mark McFarland
received the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) rating of "Expert"
October 1, 2008. McFarland is Sales and Education Market Manager of
PUR-O-ZONE, Inc., a regional distributor of cleaning, laundry, kitchen and
pool supplies. McFarland operates the southeastern and western Kansas
territories of PUR-O-ZONE from his base in Hutchinson involving another six
employees. Certification followed extended training at the International
Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) worldwide education, management and
product knowledge meeting in Las Vegas (NV) last month. McFarland is only
the second Kansan to have achieved the expert designation.
CIMS standards are recognized internationally as benchmarks for the
management of cleaning in buildings, healthcare facilities and plants.
Sponsor ISSA is a not-for-profit organization that develops the standards of
measurement and training for maximizing productivity among cleaning and
infection control staffs. Corporate offices and manufacturing facilities of
PUR-O-ZONE are located in Lawrence out of which another 44 persons are
employed.
